ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares / ensures accuracy of journal entries for various accounting transactions and maintains the books of accounts.
Handles bank transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, checkbook re-order - as directed by the owner.
Assist in preparation in budget planning for due payables, advances and reimbursement.
Assist in handling the receivables and disbursement functions.
Assist in coordination and implementation of accounting control procedures.
Handles check preparation, tracking etc. as directed by the Owner.
Supervise the input and handling financial data and reports for the company’s financial system.
Prepares and maintains up to date and accurate store sales books (columnar).
Maintains confidentiality of salary package (e.g. allowances, tangible assets as issued by the company, basic pay etc.)
Records changes affecting net wages (e.g. exemptions, insurance coverage, loan payments etc.)
Preparation of monthly and quarterly BIR Reports, Management Financial Reports, Bank Reconciliation, Maintain Chart of Accounts and Audit
Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree (CPA a plus)
Organizational skills with attention to detail.
Research and data reduction skills
Reasoning ability, mathematical ability, and logical thinking skills
Understanding of the numbers and their interaction among departments
Problem solving skills
Proficient with MS Office and Accounting Software programs
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Can start immediately upon notice of hiring
Candidate must be willing to be assigned at Quezon City
